Visited an Agritourist farm in Poland and learnt about the Polish traditions of vegetable pickling and river fish smoking! It was a Super cool experience as we tried our hands at tying trout, and getting them ready for the smokehouse. We also learnt about the pickling of cabbage and cucumbers, which is an extremely tedious process that is largely completed by hand, or feet (as they believe that vegetables trampled on by a young lady with long legs taste better). We rounded off the evening with a local Masurian dinner which comprised the trout that we smoked for about an hour, pickles, clear chicken soup and organic fruits. What an eye-opening and food-filling evening! #polandtastesgood #poland #omgwhereskim
